“Ocular Buddy”
The “Ocular Buddy” solves two issues associated with a scoped service rifle:
The issue everyone is talking about is the parallax issue. While it is an issue, I believe it is somewhat overblown. Arguments over this will continue for some time. Whatever the case, the “Ocular Buddy” will eliminate the parallax issue. The other issue, which I believe is a bigger issue, is cheek weld. The scope gives the eye a much bigger area to look through than iron sights. The small aperture on the service rifle iron sights forces a shooter to place the eye in the exact same spot on every shot. Consistency is paramount for good accuracy shot after shot. The “Ocular Buddy” Replicates this effect with a scoped service rifle. The aperture forces you to maintain a consistent cheek weld. The “Ocular Buddy” solves both of these issues.
